I am a journalist based in Oslo, Norway with a keen interest in documenting the world as it is today.
I began as a journalist in 2015 having worked as a research assistant in political economy at the University of Copenhagen. There I studied the use of international economic sanctions, with a special emphasis on Iran, and Afghanistan’s illicit opium industry.
Before that, I completed a bachelor degree in economics and a master in agricultural economics. As of 2021, I also hold a bachelor degree in journalism. Please find my resume by clicking here (for English) or here (for Norwegian).
I have published articles in numerous publications, including:
• Al Jazeera English (intl.)
• Klassekampen (Norway)
• Morgenbladet (Norway)
• Bistandsaktuelt (Norway)
Examples of my work is shown on this website, feel free to explore.
I am strongly committed to journalistic ethical standards and a trustworthy partner.
