In November 2020, Norway registered a highly pathogenic bird flu virus for the first time. That poses a serious threat to all kinds of birds, both domesticated and wild – and, with time, potentially also humans. As farmers shivers, strict measures are put in place to secure the nations chickens, much like humans are now used to thanks to the covid-19 pandemic.
